On behalf of the Australasian Society for Infectious Diseases (ASID), we warmly invite you to be part of the inaugural Emerging Respiratory Virus Symposium, proudly hosted by ASID with the support of our special interest groups. 

This timely event will focus on the interconnected challenges of human and animal respiratory infectious diseases, recognising the critical role of the One Health approach in addressing emerging threats at the interface of people, animals, and the environment. 

The symposium will bring together a diverse group of adult and paediatric clinicians, veterinarians, epidemiologists, public health professionals, and researchers to share insights, review the latest developments, and strengthen our collective pandemic preparedness.
